Product Obsession - Rooted Beauty

I love it when a company not only hits all the right notes with regards to ingredients and sustainability, but also promotes social awareness on important issues.

Rooted Beauty is such a company.

The purpose and mission alone of Rooted Beauty was enough to make me want to try their products, so I was extremely happy when Mei from Living Naturally Co. offered to send me some of their items to try out.

Here is what I received:

Lip Butters:

There are 3 lip butters and I honestly don't know which I love the most! All of them are infused with nutrient rich fruit extracts, are highly moisturizing and leave a glossy sheen on your lips. And the fact that they taste delicious doesn't hurt either! :-)

Raspberry Citrus Facial Wipes - I'll be honest, I'm not a huge fan of facial wipes, preferring a plant based oil cleanser or a gentle castile cleanser, but I actually liked these. I mostly used them during the day when I needed to re-do my make-up and didn't have time to go through my whole cleansing routine. These pre-moistened wipes effectively removed all traces of make-up and left my skin feeling clean and hydrated. I do wish that natural companies would stop using phenoxyethanol in their products, but other than that, I loved this. A portion of the proceeds from this product goes to fund Project Liana.

My overall thoughts:  Rooted Beauty is an amazing company with an extremely noble mission. In addition, they are also extremely eco-conscious, using 100% recyclable packaging, and natural ingredients that are not only good for us, but aren't harmful to animals or the environment.
