I recently had the pleasure of being introduced to the Devita Skincare make up line, Absolute Minerals. I was so impressed that I had to try their skincare line as well (which I included in this post here).

Let's take a look at each:
1) Prime Corrective - Even though this product contains silicones, which I try and avoid, I was so blown away by how great my skin looked after using this under my foundation, that I decided that I would make an exception. I know what you're thinking, but when you have skin like mine and you find something that makes it look a million times better, sometimes you just have to bend a little. Besides, if I only use this when going out, my skin won't have any issues. All of that being said, this is a remarkable primer that leaves your skin smooth, matte and blurs out any and every imperfection..seriously. It's too good not to use! Just be aware that if you are break out prone, silicones may aggravate the issue.
Price - $27.95
Ingredients - Coconut Alkanes (and) Coco-Caprylate/Caprate (vegetale oil blend), Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer, Polymethylsilsesquioxane, Caprylyl Methicone, Capylic/Capric Triglyceride (derived from coconut), Tocopherol (vitamin E), Lavandulastoechas (lavender) extract, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate (vitamin C ester), Laminaria ochroleuca (marine algae) extract, Silybum Marianum (milk thistle) Seed Oil, Polymethyl-silses-quioxane/benzimidazole/diamond copolymer. Ingredient labeling adheres to international INCI standards.
2) Eye Lift Creme - This gorgeous eye cream was featured in the Golden Globes gift bags, so I was thrilled to receive this to review! Silky, feather light and super nourishing, this is your dream cream for treating the delicate under eye area. Vitamin K encourages circulation, vitamin E and Hyaluronic acid moisturize and a special blend of peptides helps to boost collagen and elastin production and also support cellular repair. What I loved most about this cream besides the ingredients, was the fact that I saw immediate results. The area under my eyes instantly looked refreshed, hydrated and firmer. I would definitely purchase this once I run out.
Price - $23.95 (for the month of January it is on sale for $19.16!)
Ingredients - Aloe barbadensis (certified organic aloe vera gel), Capric/caprylic triglycerides (derived from coconut), Butyrospermum parkii (shea butter), Hyaluronic acid (vegan source), Hydrolyzed Collagen (plant source), Palmitoyl oligopeptide-palmitoyl tetrapeptide-3, Anthemis nobilis (chamomile) flower seed extract, Euphrasia officinalis (eyebright) extract, Squalane (olive), Panthenol (vitamin B5), Phytomenadione (vitamin K), Retinol (vitamin A), Beta glucan (derived from oats), Tocopherol (vitamin E), Vitis vinifera (grape) seed extract, Citrus paradisi (grapefruit) seed extract. Ingredient labeling adheres to international INCI standards.
3) Absolute Lips in Sanguine Angel - This beautiful lip color made it on my favorite make up products of 2013 (see here) and it's easy to see why - it's the perfect shade of red for those of us fair skinned gals with blue-red undertones, as well as containing some truly luscious ingredients such as avocado, macadamia, jojoba, and sunflower seed oils and vitamins C & E. I love that this isn't heavy and that the color is buildable, so you can choose either a sheer wash of color or layer it on for a more dramatic look. Either way, this color is hot!
Price - $23.95

Contains: Mica, Titanium dioxide, Iron oxides. Ingredient labeling adheres to international INCI standards.

4) Absolute Softlines Eyeliner in Obsidian - This is my new favorite eye pencil. Hands down. It glides on without tugging, is not the least bit harsh looking, yet deposits highly pigmented color with little effort. Plus, it not only has a blender on the end, but the cap has a built in sharpener. How unbelievably cool, not to mention convenient is that?! Oh, and the ingredients are pretty awesome as well - emoillient rich carnuba and candelilla wax and moisturizing jojoba oil to name a few. I'm thinking this will pair nicely with the Sanguine Angel lipstick...winged liner and red lips..sex kitten anyone? ;-)

My overall thoughts - I honestly can't say enough good things about this company. Everything I have tried has not only impressed me, but has made a huge difference in my skin. As far as anti-aging brands go that incorporate both science and nature, Devita is my new favorite. Their make up line is just as impressive and I recently ordered samples of their powder base, so I'll let you know what I think once I try it out.
