I'll be honest, I'm not much good with nail care. It's not that I don't love having my nails groomed and colored in the latest trendy hue, it's more that I am always doing things that make doing my nails pretty much a moot point.
So, since we were given free reign again (thank you Gaby!), I decided to just do a short but sweet nail "wish list".

As someone who tries to keep toxins to a bare minimum in my life, nail polish is one that is impossible to be completely chemical free. Of course, there are a few brands that avoid using the most toxic ones and my favorite of these is Zoya.
Zoya is 5 Free - meaning it does not contain the five biggest toxic offenders - toluene, camphor, formaldehyde, formaldehyde resin and DBP (dibutyl phthalate) in its formulations.
That little tidbit aside, Zoya creates some of the most beautiful as well as long lasting colors out on the nail market today. And their "Awaken" Collection for Spring 2014 is no exception.
Pastels are big for Spring this year and I am in love with the gorgeous shades this collection offers. A mixture of pale blues, pinks, orchid, peach and white gold, I can't seem to find a favorite!
The colors are: starting top left to right - Dillon (a mint green metallic), Rebel (a sky blue metallic with silver finish), Hudson (a purple orchid metallic with silver finish); bottom left to right - Dot (a pink petal cream), Cole (a peach cream), and Brooklyn (a white gold shimmer).
What do you think of this collection? What are your favorite shades for Spring?
Peace & Love,
~Sabrina
