Product Obsession: Annmarie Gianni Skincare Review Part Two - The Get Away Sample Kit

I recently reviewed the Oily Skin Sample Pack from Annmarie Gianni Skincare and now I'd like to share my thoughts on another of their amazing sample kits - the Get Away.

This is the largest of the sample kits, containing seven of Annmarie Gianni's most favorite products, and I could not have been more excited to receive this to try out! I've said this a dozen times before, and it still remains true - I am a huge fan of this brand! I have loved every product I have tried by them and this kit was no exception!

Here are my thoughts on each product:

1) Ayurvedic Facial Scrub - Not only is this scrub extremely gentle, but it smells divine! I personally love the smell of Indian herbs and spices (think garam masala) so this product was a real treat to my senses as well as my skin! It contains Rhassoul clay, which not only helps to exfoliate the skin, but it also absorbs excess oil, dirt and toxins. It also has fenugreek seeds which are high in vitamin C, niacin and potassium and is both anti-inflammatory and soothing for irritated skin.

Ingredients  - Love, organic lavender flowers; organic fenugreek seed; rhassoul clay; organic rosemary leaves; organic lemon balm leaves; organic shavegrass (horsetail herb); organic neem leaves; organic comfrey root; organic lemon peel; honey powder.

2) Aloe Herb Cleanser - If you prefer a creamy cleanser, then this is your holy grail product! Herb infused Aloe Vera Juice is the base of this lovely formula, with organic coconut oil and vegetable glyercine to nourish and moisturize while essential oils of ruby grapefruit, lemon and green mandarin cleanse and tone. The scent is bright and citrusy and it leaves your skin feeling clean and super soft!

Ingredients - Love, organic aloe vera juice infused with organic herbs (lavender flowers, calendula flowers, life everlasting flowers, hyssop, lemon balm, neem leaf, olive leaf, plantago leaf ); organic coconut oil; cocoglucoside (coconut oil & glycerine); organic vegetable glycerine; aspen bark extract; organic ruby grapefruit oil; organic lemon oil; organic green mandarin oil; xanthan gum; organic rosemary oleoresin.

3) Coconut Honey Mask - The scent of this product alone was enough to make me want to use it (after I had to resist the urge not to eat it!) and I was not disappointed by the results I got from it! The benefits of coconut are many, including being anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and hydrating and honey is healing and nourishing as well as being high in vitamins C & B and also amino acids. I found I like to use this as a cleanser when my skin is feeling particularly parched. It doesn't break me out and my skin is soft and supple afterwards. A definite keeper! :-)

Ingredients - Love, raw mountain wildflower honey, organic extra virgin coconut oil, beeswax, organic vanilla powder.

5) Herbal Facial Oil for Normal and Combination Skin - I'm going to be completely honest. I've tried every oil and serum by Annmarie and they are all fantastic! This oil is ideal for normal, combination and sensitive skin types, however, I found that it works amazingly well on my oily, acne prone skin (as does all of her products!). All of the ingredients in this lovely oil work to balance, soothe and restore skin's health as well as imparting a youthful glow. You only need a few drops to get the job done too, so it is quite a cost effective product and who doesn't love that? ;-)

Ingredients - Love, herb oil (grapeseed oil, life everlasting, green tea, gotu kola, rosemary, calendula, lavender, milk thistle, lemon balm, licorice root, roobibos, hibiscus, rhodiola, gingko, plantain, amla, ashwaghanda, acai, goji berry, horsetail, comfrey leaves, comfrey root, rose petal, echinacea, ginseng, lotus, boswellia, blue violet), fractionated coconut oil, oleic sunflower oil, olive oil, aloe vera oil, passion fruit oil, tamanu oil, carrot seed oil, vitamin E tocopherols, evening primrose extract, seabuckthorn berry extract, red raspberry seed oil, cranberry seed oil, rosehip extract, calendula extract, buriti fruit oil, sandalwood oil, jasmine sambac oil, bergamot oil, blue chamomile oil, rosemary oleoresin. Organic or Wildcrafted.

6) Neroli Toning Mist - There are some scents that no matter what kind of day you are having, will magically make everything better. For me, one of those scents is neroli, and this toner is one of the greatest things I have ever used. Not only is neroli one of the most relaxing, calming scents out there, but it has very potent rejuvenating and regenerative benefits to the skin, such as helping to heal acne scars. For me, this product is a total win all the way around!

Ingredients - Love and pure organic neroli distillate.

7) Repair Serum - This serum uses vegan stem cells from oranges, which helps your skin to rebuild collagen, repair itself and of course, prevent aging! It also contains Superoxide dismutase (SOD), which is a very powerful anti-oxidant that really does make a noticeable difference in aging skin and keeps not quite aging skin looking youthful longer! This product is also high in vitamin C, and uses essential oils of lavender and sandalwood, both of which have healing and regenerative benefits on the skin. I would definitely purchase a full sized version of this to keep in my routine!

Ingredients - Love, *Aloe vera juice; *Uva Ursi (and) *Licorice root (and) *Amla berry extract; Citrus-derived Stem Cells; *Jojoba oil; *Castor oil; *Vegetable glycerin; Chondrus crispus; *Helichrysum extract; Aspen bark extract; Chondrus crispus; *Rosehip seed oil extract; *Rosehip oil extract; *Seabuckthorn berry oil extract; Essential oils of *Lavender, *Sandalwood; Superoxide dismutase; Hyaluronic acid; Xanthan gum; Rosemary extract.

My overall thoughts - Annmarie Gianni clearly puts her heart and soul, as well as love (which is the main ingredient) into every one of her products. She also believes in complete transparency, which is important to me as I want to know exactly what I am putting on my skin! As I mentioned, I've had great results with everything I have tried by them, and this is the brand I continually go to when my skin is especially dry, irritated and broken out. I was a fan at first try and I know I always will be!
