Autumn Musings

One of the things I love about living in Western New York is the change of seasons. And while each season brings its own beauty and charm, for me, I have always had a fondness for Autumn. The way the leaves turn vibrant shades of crimson and gold. How the air becomes crisp and earthy. And of course, I can't forget about the intoxicating flavors of Fall - pumpkin, cinnamon and nutmeg seem to dominate foods and drinks everywhere you go. Pumpkin Latte anyone? :-)

Besides the weather, foliage, fashion and foods that change during the Fall season, skincare routines and make-up palettes also evolve.

To celebrate the coming of this colorfully rich and beautiful season, here are some things I am craving/loving/coveting for Fall.

1) Zoya Non-Toxic Nail Polish in Cashmeres & Satins - This Fall is filled with rich dark reds, navy blues,deep purples, fiery oranges as well as neutral nudes. Zoya covers all of these in 2 beautiful collections. Need to have..like now!

2) The All Natural Face Diva Stix for Eyes in Peacock Blue - I am so happy that bright, bold colored liners are back in vogue this season and I'm currently lusting over this beautiful blue liner from The All Natural Face. I have really dark brown (almost black) eyes, so a bright color like this will really make my peepers pop! ;-)

3) Ilia Beauty Tinted Lip Conditioner in Lust for Life - I love this rich, cool mulberry color. It's the perfect shade for this season as well as being the perfect hue for my skin tone. I'm in love...

4) Black Bean, Sweet Potato & Red Quinoa Soup - One of my all time favorite food blogs is "Oh She Glows", and this recipe is one that is perfect for the cooler Autumn months. My mouth is watering just looking at the picture!

5) Lauren Brooke Cosmetiques Eye Trios in Diamonds and Autumn - My husband is thrilled that the smokey eye is in for Fall, as he loves that look on me. These trios will give you a sexy, smoldering eye with little effort. ;-)

6) Annmarie Gianni Dead Sea Scrub - As the weather gets cooler and drier, exfoliation seems to be more necessary, at least for me. I love this scrub from Annmarie Gianni, as it is gentle enough even for very sensitive, acne prone skin.

7) Elaa Raw Organic Skincare Bee Beauty Facial Oil - Ultra hydrating, but not greasy, this beautiful face oil will be a staple in my Fall skincare routine.

8) Vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte - I fell in love with this recipe from "Chocolate Covered Katie"  (how awesome is that name!) and knew I would have to try it. I'm a huge fan of everything pumpkin, so I know this won't disappoint!

9) Merona Satchel Handbag - Because one can never have too may purses, and this trendy find is a steal at Target.

10) GingerChi Purifying Face Oil Cleanser - The lovely Britanie from "Beauty by Britanie" recently wrote a review on this equisite sounding face cleanser (check it out here) and I've been lusting after it ever since. I am a huge fan of oil cleansing, as well as ginger, so this product is a must have for me. Oil cleansers are great for removing all traces of make up, but they also can be very nourishing to your skin, especially when they are as pure as this one.
